Lorentis Group conducts its advisory and procurement facilitation activities in a manner consistent with prevailing international commercial standards. This page summarises the frameworks that guide client onboarding, transaction review and ongoing engagement.
1. Know Your Client (KYC) & AML
Prior to any material engagement, Lorentis conducts client identification and verification consistent with FATF-aligned principles. This includes verification of identity, beneficial ownership, source of funds and source of wealth where applicable. Engagements may be declined or terminated where satisfactory information cannot be obtained.
2. Sanctions & Export Controls
Lorentis screens counterparties against consolidated sanctions lists (including UN, EU, UK OFSI and US OFAC) and observes applicable export-control regimes. We do not facilitate transactions involving sanctioned persons, entities, vessels or jurisdictions.
3. Anti-Bribery & Corruption
Lorentis maintains a zero-tolerance position on bribery, corruption and facilitation payments, consistent with the UK Bribery Act, US FCPA and equivalent international standards. Introducer and partner compensation is governed exclusively by written agreement.
4. Responsible Sourcing
Where relevant, Lorentis expects counterparties to observe responsible-sourcing principles aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.
5. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Client information is treated as confidential and processed in accordance with applicable data-protection law and our Privacy Policy.
6. Reporting Concerns
Suspected breaches of law, ethics or these standards may be reported in confidence through the enquiry form on this website. Reports are reviewed on a strictly confidential basis and, where appropriate, escalated to independent counsel.
